True Ring is a publishing label established in 2009 by Cawaii Factory, a creative unit focused on the fields of art and design.
Following the ideal book that William Morris tried in Britain at the end of the 19th century, we are working on bookmaking with the aspiration of practicing the form of a book suitable for the 21st century.
Morris advocated that “beautiful books are architectural” and that the typeface, letter setting, paper, ink, and printing are all in harmony with the content.
With his philosophy and passion as support, we pursue beautiful forms of books and challenge various attempts to ask the meaning of books themselves in the computer age.
